EDUCATION
I’m a graduate of the New York University Stern School of Business. From 2006-2010 I participated in the Langone Part-Time program, where I focused on Strategy, Change Management and Law & Business. I chose to focus on these areas to complement my existing experience in technology management.
My education at Stern was not just about classroom work. I also focused on leadership development by organizing the annual Langone retreat. In organizing the Langone retreat, I utilized my networking ability to source speakers and my negotiation and influence skills to organize the retreat staff.
My undergraduate studies were in Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan. I chose the Computer Engineering program because it offered a unique challenge. Exiting high school, I had already done significant work in software programming. I considered myself proficient in programming and felt that studies in hardware engineering were needed to both challenge myself as well as complement my existing knowledge.
My undergraduate experience was not simply about the education. It was also about pushing my own limits while leveraging my existing abilities. It was this desire that drove me to participate in medical research at the University of Michigan hospital that resulted in a research publication. It also led me to two stints with IBM and working on a library digitization project.
